About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Generate retail sales by using technology knowledge and customer service to expand the Verizon network
  • Learn and uncover customer needs by creating connections and asking questions
  • Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide complete sales solutions
  • Close sales using communication skills and intuitive technology solutions
  • Develop through ongoing training and upskill in merchandising and inventory operations
  • Place outbound calls and send text messages to interested current Verizon customers
  • Engage with the community at off-site Verizon-sponsored events
  • Work onsite at defined location(s)
  • Work 40 scheduled hours per week

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED
  • One or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Openness to pick up additional shifts during peak periods
  • Experience working in a commission-based environment preferred
  • Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions preferred
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • May be required to complete an approximately 19-minute assessment
