Key responsibilities & impact
  • Direct a team of up to 10 management professionals supporting daily operations for Construction scheduling, dispatch, customer delivery, and strategic programs
  • Oversee scheduling, dispatch, and project management for field teams
  • Coordinate roadblock mitigation, engineering work order validation, material controls, compliance, dispatch integration, job reconciliation, and engineering interface
  • Direct Construction dispatch, scheduling, and strategic programs across an AVP Market Area
  • Oversee program execution and drive target achievement
  • Lead cross-functional projects aligned with business strategies and requirements
  • Drive construction transformation using AI and lead initiatives to reduce cost points and build with speed
  • Deliver data analysis and capacity reporting for senior executive review
  • Provide continuous updates to executive leadership on program progress
  • Maintain proactive communication channels with key partner organizations
  • Structure build initiatives to support corporate financial targets and operational performance goals
  • Create action plans to meet objective milestones
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to implement tracking metrics, test plans, end-user communications, and business goals
  • Advocate for the customer across IT, Network Planning, and Outside Plant to protect committed timelines, budgets, and user experience

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of equivalent work experience
  • Recent, hands-on experience in the Construction Support Group
  • Proficiency reading Engineering Work Orders and utilizing vBuild, Optix CXM, and other construction systems and dashboards
  • Proven capability partnering across all leadership tiers to meet key milestones
  • Proficiency with the full Google Workspace application suite
  • Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in union environments
  • Willingness to travel on occasion
  • Advanced degree (Master’s) preferred
  • Proven success leading large-scale initiatives and delivering projects preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of shaping departmental strategy and organizational direction preferred
  • Background overseeing substantial budgets while staying aligned with overtime targets preferred
  • Proficiency in executing thorough cost-benefit evaluations preferred
  • Ability to resolve conflicts, perform effectively under high-pressure scenarios, and drive solutions that optimize team performance to surpass organizational targets preferred
