About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Investigate complex operational anomalies, fraud patterns, and security threats across wireline and wireless systems
  • Perform root cause analyses and recommend strategies to improve program and business security
  • Partner with Executive Relations Teams on sensitive account requests and urgent, high-visibility escalations
  • Oversee account lock removal and account protections, including SIM lock and port freeze
  • Review daily security events to identify suspicious internal or external threat actor behavior
  • Analyze large operational and sensitive datasets to identify trends, establish baselines, and detect outliers or emerging threats
  • Manage multiple complex projects and investigative work streams while ensuring timely deliverables and operational compliance
  • Collaborate with Cyber Security, Corporate Security, Ethics and Investigations, technical partners, and other business units
  • Adapt to changing systems, operational processes, data structures, and threat landscapes
  • Identify ways to implement AI into daily operations
  • Serve as a security liaison to Executive Relations Teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
  • Six or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work and/or military experience or specialized training
  • Solid understanding of wireless and wireline systems, operational workflows, and account security
  • Experience in fraud investigations, security, risk management, or threat operations
  • Ability to analyze data, recognize patterns, and isolate system outliers
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience writing formal executive summaries under tight deadlines
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, manage competing priorities, and build trust across diverse teams
  • Hands-on experience writing and executing SQL queries in production environments
  • Ability to provide scheduled and unscheduled after-hours, weekend, and holiday coverage
