About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the VP, Field Operations and Execution for Verizon Consumer Group
Support the Sales & Service Field Operations leadership team through planning, project management, and resource coordination
Drive critical initiatives and provide support for sales, service, and operations teams
Identify and implement continuous improvement strategies to improve organizational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance sales results and customer experience
Create executive presentations and organizational narratives
Manage projects involving executive readouts and leadership-team initiatives
Facilitate Operations Reviews, staff meetings, and other key executive meetings
Lead ad hoc projects requiring coordination across the senior executive team
Provide strategic recommendations to senior leaders
Collect and analyze data to improve meeting relevance and effectiveness
Identify opportunities from feedback and develop plans to improve executive meetings
Streamline processes and improve templates and formats for concise communication
Manage operations matters including budgets, contracts/vendors, AI tools, resources, culture, and communications

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
Six or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work and/or military experience or specialized training
Experience establishing and cultivating cross-functional partnerships
Experience managing large complex projects involving multiple work streams and stakeholders
Experience managing VCG Roundtable meeting preparation and monthly CSO Planning sessions
Experience managing recognition programs and budgets
Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time
Master’s degree preferred
Exceptional skills in creating executive-level presentations
Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Expert verbal and written communication skills
Strategic and analytical ability, including collecting and analyzing data to make process/business decisions and recommendations
Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new systems, software, and hardware
Excellent organization and time-management skills
Demonstrated ability to deal with conflict and bring about resolution
Proven ability to interact with all levels of management
Strong management skills, including experience managing employees remotely
Ability to organize around a problem and engage various teams to solve challenges
Prior experience developing executive-level deliverables at VP/SVP level
