About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the VP of Operations, Technical Sales, V2B, and Broadband within Verizon Business Group
- Provide essential support to senior leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align initiatives, actions, and resources with business objectives
- Oversee key initiatives, track progress, address obstacles, and ensure strategic alignment
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts, track deliverables, optimize resource allocation, and drive results
- Create and manage executive and operational presentations for the VP
- Develop and deliver clear, compelling executive-level communications
- Create and manage executive deliverables and keep owners updated on status
- Evaluate and analyze data to support business priorities through insights and actions
- Identify complex business challenges, propose innovative solutions, and drive implementation
- Drive culture, engagement, recognition initiatives, programs, and communications
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor degree or four or more years of experience
- Six or more years of leadership experience in operations, communications, project management, or customer service
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Extensive experience producing and delivering presentations to all levels of management across the organization
- Proven ability to create short- and long-term strategies
- Strategic and analytical thinking skills, including analyzing data to make business decisions and recommendations and shape business strategy
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Experience handling confidential information and forward-looking data
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or Project Management is preferred
- Electronic presentation, communication, and leadership skills
- Project management experience
- Exceptional PC skills with Google Docs, advanced PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Access
- Prior experience in reporting, analytics, or an operational role
- Strong understanding of analytics, with exceptional presentation and organizational skills
- Results-oriented, proactive, flexible, and able to work under pressure while meeting deadlines
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and maintaining accountability for major business initiatives
