About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive automation strategies for web and service applications
- Design and manage scalable automation frameworks for functional, performance, and regression testing
- Evaluate and integrate AI/ML-driven tools for test case generation, defect prediction, and testing accuracy
- Collaborate with Development, DevOps, and QA teams to embed automation and AI solutions into CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor emerging AI and automation trends and introduce innovative solutions
- Mentor and coach QA engineers, fostering continuous learning and technical excellence
- Define and track KPIs for automation and AI initiatives
- Manage resources, budgets, and timelines for automation and AI projects
- Lead automation testing strategies for mobile apps, web applications, and services across all Value segments
- Drive strategic execution and optimization of automation and AI initiatives to ensure quality and operational excellence
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience
- Six or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work and/or military experience or specialized training
- Experience in automation testing of web applications and APIs
- Expertise in automation frameworks such as Playwright or similar
- Experience with AI/ML tools and techniques, particularly in testing and defect management
- Experience building MCP servers, tools, and integrations connecting LLM agents to internal systems
- Experience with developer AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Devin AI
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript, Python, or similar, with deep hands-on expertise using Playwright with TypeScript
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based testing environments
- Experience in continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis
- Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter and LoadRunner
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies
- Certifications in AI/ML or automation testing tools are an advantage
- Experience with tools such as PyTorch or other AI frameworks is an advantage
