About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure the fleet operates at the lowest possible cost and with the highest possible availability by replacing manual controls with automated processes and reliable performance indicators.
  • Turn telematics, fuel consumption, maintenance, and traffic-fine data into actionable decisions, providing field operations with visibility into each vehicle’s use.
  • Map current fleet processes and identify manual steps, rework, and bottlenecks.
  • Develop automations using Power Automate, Python, VBA, or RPA to collect, consolidate, and validate data from suppliers and systems.
  • Integrate data sources from telematics, fuel cards, ERP systems, and repair-shop reports into a single, reliable database.
  • Automate alerts for the expiration of vehicle registration, IPVA, insurance, preventive maintenance, and the deadline for identifying the driver responsible for traffic fines.
  • Document automations and submit them for IT and Information Security validation and approval before deployment to production.
  • Produce management reports.
  • Apply the Brazilian Traffic Code to the management of traffic fines and vehicle documentation.
  • Develop vehicle checklists with automated routines.
  • Manage the performance of partners, such as rental companies, insurers, and dealerships.
  • Manage operational and financial KPIs, such as cost per kilometer, kilometers per activity, kilometers per team, and risky-driving alerts.
  • Continuously improve fleet policies.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree completed or in the final year of a degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or related fields), Logistics, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related areas.
  • 3–5 years of experience in fleet management or analysis, logistics, or operations, with regular data analysis responsibilities.
  • Advanced Excel: pivot tables, XLOOKUP, and Power Query.
  • Power BI: data modeling, intermediate DAX, and report publishing.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one automation or AI tool: Power Automate, Python, RPA, Copilot, or Claude.
  • Knowledge of vehicle telematics and tracking, fuel management (fuel cards), and preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Preferred: experience in telecommunications or in a company with field technical teams and a distributed fleet.
  • Preferred: experience analyzing TCO and owned, leased, or mixed fleet models.
  • Preferred: knowledge of Brazil’s LGPD as applied to telematics and driver data.
