Key responsibilities & impact

Build and modernize Vetcove's development workflow with AI at every step
Put coding agents to work with appropriate context, tools, environments, and feedback loops
Own CI and deployment paths from code change to production
Reduce slow tests, flaky builds, manual steps, and unnecessary waiting
Automate repetitive engineering work including triage, code review, testing, documentation, and releases
Build infrastructure and deployment paths enabling non-engineering teams to create and maintain apps and automations
Experiment with new models, coding agents, and developer infrastructure
Introduce tools and own their rollout across Vetcove
Build testing, permissions, sandboxing, and observability into workflows
Collaborate with engineers, share effective practices, and improve adoption
Identify and remove team bottlenecks
Measure whether engineering is shipping faster with less friction
Work directly with engineering leadership and teams across the business

Requirements

What you’ll need

Hands-on experience using coding agents and building AI-powered workflows
Strong software engineering fundamentals
Experience designing, shipping, and operating production systems
Experience improving CI/CD, testing infrastructure, development environments, or internal tooling
Track record of improving engineering productivity
Familiarity with agent SDKs, agent harnesses, tool integrations, and agent infrastructure
Technical judgment to evaluate build-versus-buy decisions
Ability to take ambiguous problems, set technical direction, and carry implementation through adoption
Comfort working with Python/Django and React/TypeScript
Comfort working with supporting infrastructure
Collaborative, hands-on approach
Must be legally authorized to work in the country for which applying
