About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute investment and retirement planning strategies aligned with the cooperative’s objectives and members’ needs.
- Provide consultative support in managing and expanding the investment portfolio, increasing share of wallet, retaining assets, and strengthening relationships.
- Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities, expanding the use of the financial products and services portfolio.
- Prospect new business, members, and funding opportunities, focusing on sustainable portfolio growth and value creation.
- Manage and monitor the opportunity pipeline, defining strategies for conversion, retention, and business development.
- Structure expansion strategies through Loans Secured by Investments, strengthening members’ primary relationship with the cooperative and increasing portfolio profitability.
- Analyze portfolios, investor profiles, financial behavior, and relationship potential, recommending solutions aligned with members’ objectives.
- Develop strategies to retain assets, mitigate withdrawals, and increase member loyalty.
- Serve as a technical and strategic reference in investments, retirement planning, and financial markets for leaders, managers, and sales teams.
- Develop commercial initiatives focused on expanding investment, retirement planning, funding, and relationship businesses.
- Monitor performance indicators, market share, sales productivity, business conversion, product penetration, share of wallet, and portfolio growth.
- Identify market trends, opportunities, and movements, translating information into commercial and relationship strategies.
- Lead training, professional development, and mentoring programs for sales teams, fostering technical and consultative development.
- Partner with regional leaders, management, and business areas to define and execute commercial strategies.
- Participate in developing campaigns, sales journeys, and initiatives aimed at business growth, increasing members’ primary relationship with the cooperative, and expanding their participation in the cooperative’s portfolio.
- Represent the cooperative at events, lectures, interviews, forums, and institutional initiatives related to financial markets, investments, and retirement planning.
- Promote a culture of financial planning, investing, and retirement planning among members.
- Ensure that investment strategies and recommendations comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and market best practices.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Financial Management, Financial Markets, or a related field.
- CPA-20, CEA, C-Pro I, or C-Pro R certification.
- CFP® certification is a plus.
- Experience in financial advisory, investments, retirement planning, and financial markets.
- Experience managing and expanding investment portfolios, raising funds, and building relationships with clients or cooperative members.
- Knowledge of investor profile analysis, financial planning, and asset-retention strategies.
- Must have a personal vehicle.
- Willingness to travel.
