About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare and file Canadian business immigration applications, including LMIAs, work permits, and permanent residence applications
- Develop immigration strategies aligned with business objectives while managing compliance obligations and mitigating risk
- Advise multinational organizations on Canadian business immigration requirements, workforce mobility challenges, and compliance
- Advise clients on regulatory changes and their impact on employees and accompanying family members
- Manage a high-volume caseload with technical accuracy, responsiveness, and excellent client service
- Collaborate with clients, internal stakeholders, and team members on practical immigration solutions
- Leverage technology, automation, and process improvements to enhance service delivery and client experience
- Participate in client meetings and communicate Vialto Law’s consultative, strategic, people-focused approach
- Review work, support quality assurance, and contribute to team knowledge and best practices
- Monitor Canadian immigration law, policy, and industry developments and share relevant insights
Requirements
What you’ll need- Licensed and in good standing with a Canadian law society in a province or territory where authorized to practice law
- Typically 3–6 years of Canadian business immigration experience
- Experience preparing and managing work permits, Labour Market Impact Assessments (LMIAs), Express Entry applications, Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) applications, employer compliance matters, and permanent residence applications
- Experience advising multinational organizations on Canadian business immigration and workforce mobility challenges
- Strong knowledge of Canadian employer compliance requirements, temporary foreign worker programs, and related immigration obligations
- Ability to independently manage a complex caseload while maintaining exceptional quality and client service standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Interest in technology-enabled service delivery, process improvement, and continuous innovation
- Commitment to collaboration, professional development, and practical, business-focused immigration solutions
