About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

The Inbound Planning team is responsible for executing the weekly transportation plan, validated by the Supply team, ensuring the efficient movement of fuels and biofuels between Vibra’s suppliers, terminals, and storage facilities.
Allocate transportation quotas among carriers, considering the lowest contracted cost while balancing volumes and performance.
Schedule and manage pickups, transfers, and deliveries, including return freight, while adhering to required cadence and inventory levels.
Manage loading and unloading schedules in Vibra’s and suppliers’ portals.
Carry out emergency rescheduling in response to demand fluctuations or operational deviations.
Monitor carrier performance and activate the escalation list in the event of deviations.
Develop reports and performance indicators for monitoring and control.
Prevent stockouts; manage supply constraints, product limitations at plants, and transportation gaps; ensure the execution of movements; coordinate with multiple departments; and reduce logistics costs.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
Knowledge of transportation and distribution logistics.
Proficiency in Excel and data analysis (BI).
Ability to make decisions under pressure.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
End-to-end understanding of the logistics supply chain.
Continuous improvement mindset.
Artificial intelligence tools.
