About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the functional and strategic reference for SAP FI/S/4HANA;
Ensure governance and continuous improvement of financial processes in SAP;
Partner with Accounting, Controlling, Tax, Treasury, Shared Services Center (SSC), and business teams;
Lead transformation, enhancement, and new functionality implementation projects;
Assess impacts and opportunities arising from new SAP S/4HANA versions and releases;
Promote process standardization, simplification, and automation;
Ensure FI integration with MM, SD, CO, AA, TRM, and other modules/processes;
Define the integration strategy between SAP and satellite systems;
Ensure adherence to Clean Core principles;
Assess opportunities to leverage SAP BTP, Fiori, automation, and AI;
Support audits, internal controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements;
Manage technology vendors and partners, ensuring quality and SLA compliance;
Manage critical incidents and structural problems;
Conduct root cause analyses and develop continuous improvement plans;
Ensure the quality, integrity, and traceability of financial data;
Support the business in identifying opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency gains, and value creation.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field;
Postgraduate degree/MBA in Technology, Project Management, Finance, Controlling, or a related field is preferred;
SAP certification in FI and ABAP S/4HANA is preferred;
Strong knowledge of SAP FI, preferably in an SAP S/4HANA environment;
Knowledge of the main General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, Cash Management, and Closing/Financial Closing processes;
Knowledge of FI integration with CO, MM, SD, AA, PS, and tax modules;
Knowledge of accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliation, accounting close, and financial close processes;
Knowledge of SAP Fiori and the S/4HANA user experience;
Knowledge of integrations between SAP and satellite systems using APIs, RFC, BAPI, IDoc, interfaces, and middleware;
Knowledge of SAP BTP, extensibility, and integration is preferred;
Knowledge of Clean Core concepts and best practices for S/4HANA evolution;
Knowledge of SAP Notes, OSS, incident management, and problem management;
Knowledge of change management, transports, and SAP governance;
Experience with SAP DRC/electronic documents and tax integrations is preferred;
Knowledge of SAP Analytics/Embedded Analytics is preferred;
Knowledge of applying AI and automation to financial processes is preferred.
