About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the vision and strategy for Vida's member experience and connect it to Vida 2.0.
- Shape prioritization and make tradeoffs between near-term improvements and next-generation investments.
- Set member experience OKRs and focus on measurable outcomes.
- Lead competitive and market analysis and turn findings into product direction.
- Own the member experience backlog and roadmap from prioritization through measurement.
- Improve the core product, including home screen, logging, goal setting, content, and care team interactions.
- Own bug triage and maintain a reliable, fast product.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Design on delivery, velocity, and technical tradeoffs.
- Translate client requests and stakeholder input into well-scoped product work.
- Lead cross-functional launches with Clinical, supporting care delivery, medication management, and coaching workflows.
- Own engagement, retention, churn, activation, and NPS metrics.
- Analyze product data using SQL, Looker, and PostHog.
- Build and maintain member experience dashboards and establish a data review cadence.
- Design, run, and interpret A/B, personalization, and intervention experiments.
- Define success metrics, size opportunities, and identify the most important member journey problems.
- Plan and conduct user research, including moderated testing, concept validation, and prototype testing.
- Synthesize behavioral data, research, clinical input, client needs, and competitive analysis.
- Build empathy for members through storytelling and advocacy.
- Drive alignment with senior stakeholders across Clinical, Customer Success, Marketing, and executive teams.
- Coordinate with Client and Provider product groups and Marketing on enrollment, re-engagement, and lifecycle messaging.
- Set product quality standards and raise the craft of surrounding product managers.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree at a minimum.
- 10+ years of product management experience, including 5+ years owning consumer or patient-facing digital products.
- Proven record of measurably improving engagement, retention, or activation at scale, both through what you shipped and through the strategy you set.
- Strong hands-on analytics skills, including writing SQL and fluency in product analytics tools such as Looker, PostHog, Amplitude, or similar.
- Knowledge of advanced experiment design and analysis.
- Experience owning a product's whole lifecycle, from discovery and scoping through shipping, measuring, and iterating, while setting its long-term direction.
- Experience influencing executive and company-level decisions without formal authority.
- Experience with personalization, recommendation systems, or AI/ML-powered product features.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills for explaining complex strategy and data to executives, clinicians, engineers, and clients.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment where you define the problem and solve it.
- Healthcare or digital health experience preferred.
- Familiarity with behavioral design frameworks preferred.
- B2B2C product background preferred.
- Experience with React Native or mobile app development workflows preferred.
