About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and scale a strategic partnership ecosystem focused on consultants, brokers, ERISA/benefits lawyers, and other advisors
  • Identify and prospect high-potential partners with credibility and referral channels in the target market
  • Establish partnership tiers, value exchange models, and formal lead-sourcing agreements
  • Own the partnership prospect pipeline, qualification criteria, conversion metrics, and forecasting discipline
  • Generate qualified sales pipeline through partner-sourced opportunities
  • Define qualified partner-sourced leads and align partners with Vimly's MEWA and AHP ideal customer profile
  • Track, measure, and report partner-sourced pipeline and closed revenue
  • Hold partners and internal teams accountable for lead quality, responsiveness, and conversion
  • Create partner enablement programs, including training, positioning, case studies, and collateral
  • Build co-sell playbooks for high-value partner opportunities
  • Host partner webinars, feedback sessions, and business reviews
  • Create partner-friendly content and positioning with Marketing
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Client Success on lead handling, customer experience, and roadmap insights
  • Implement partnership reporting, analytics, performance metrics, and regular business reviews
  • Iterate on partnership models, enablement, and deal support to improve conversion and partner satisfaction
  • Serve as an internal champion for the partnership model

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years in B2B business development, partnerships, or channel leadership at a SaaS, HRtech, benefits, or insurance technology company
  • Proven ability to identify, recruit, and activate high-potential partners from scratch
  • Experience building a partnership or channel program
  • Deep expertise in the benefits administration, insurance, or financial services ecosystem
  • Existing credibility with advisors, brokers, and consultants
  • Demonstrated success building partner-sourced opportunity pipelines and converting them into closed revenue
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales teams to qualify, track, and close partner leads
  • Experience in PE-backed, growth-stage environments with accountability to growth targets and investors
  • Strong process orientation, pipeline discipline, clear metrics, and accountability
  • Deep relationships or credibility in the MEWA or AHP space
  • Experience with broker or agent-based go-to-market models in benefits or insurance technology
  • Background in benefits consulting, ERISA law, or TPAs
  • Track record of building multiple partnership channels
  • Experience building incentive or referral models
  • Willingness to travel approximately 40% to Seattle, partner, and client/prospect sites
