About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own custom software project delivery from planning through execution
- Keep scope, budgets, timelines and profitability on track
- Explore and embed AI tools and agents into project delivery
- Help teams and customers adopt AI-enabled ways of working
- Work closely with customers, facilitate decisions and manage expectations
- Identify opportunities within existing customer relationships
- Handle project changes, extensions, estimates and contract negotiations
- Create clarity, remove blockers and align customers with delivery teams
- Experiment with new approaches and shape custom software delivery practices
- Contribute to recovery practices, forecasting discipline and governance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience managing software development projects, preferably in custom software, digital services or a consulting environment
- Good understanding of modern software development projects and multidisciplinary development teams
- Experience owning project budgets, forecasts, scope, resourcing and delivery
- Understanding of commercial success in consultancy projects
- Experience working directly with customers and building trusted customer relationships
- Commercial confidence discussing project changes, estimates, additional work and agreements
- Hands-on interest in AI tools and agentic ways of working
- Ability to facilitate, communicate and bring clarity to complex situations involving technical teams and business stakeholders
- Proactive and practical mindset with ownership
- Full professional proficiency in Finnish and English
- Necessary permits for working in Finland if living abroad
