About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

  • Empower individuals to make choices, self-advocate and participate in decisions about their supports and lives
  • Support work, volunteer and other community engagement opportunities
  • Schedule staff assignments for community and employment activities
  • Assist in developing, implementing and documenting treatment, including IP/PBSPs and clinical programs
  • Provide transportation as necessary and schedule morning and evening transportation runs
  • Procure, store, administer, document and dispose of medication according to MAC requirements, funding source regulations and company policy

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • One to two years of experience/training in a related function
  • Valid driver's license presented at employment
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Maintained a valid US driver's license for at least 6 months
  • Access to a reliable, insured vehicle
  • CPR required within two weeks of hire
  • First Aid required within two weeks of hire
  • Medication certification required within 150 days of hire
  • Safety Care required within 90 days of hire
  • Successfully pass a multistate CORI, SORI, reference check, employment verification, education and credentialing background check
