About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee the operational, financial and administrative operations of group homes serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities or acquired brain injuries
- Provide leadership and consultation to staff on implementing Individual Service Plans (ISP) and Program Specific Treatment Plans (PTSP)
- Supervise program staff
- Ensure contract specifications and program regulations are followed
- Work with people served, their families, friends, employers, and other support staff to transform their lives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred; experience may substitute for education
- High School diploma or GED required
- 3-5 years of Human Services management experience
- Strong time management, organizational and writing skills
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Current, valid US driver's license held for at least 6 months
- Must become CPR and First Aid certified within 2 weeks of employment
- Must become MAP certified within 150 days of employment
- Must successfully pass a CORI, reference, national fingerprinting and driving record check
