About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the hiring pipeline for skilled trades and commercial construction professionals
Review submissions, conduct initial screenings, and assess candidate qualifications
Recommend shortlisted candidates for client interviews
Maintain organized candidate records and track recruiting activity
Proactively headhunt candidates across LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and other platforms
Build and maintain qualified candidate pipelines for current and future roles
Target candidates in carpentry, welding, steel erection, and commercial construction trades
Coordinate with external staffing agencies and recruiting partners
Manage communication across active recruiting channels
Research potential business opportunities and conduct initial outreach
Maintain a lead pipeline for management review
Coordinate interview scheduling and maintain accurate recruiting records
Assist with recruiting-related social media content and light marketing coordination
Support additional administrative or outreach tasks as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

Demonstrated experience in US-based recruitment
Construction industry recruiting experience preferred
Proficiency across multiple sourcing and headhunting platforms
Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent verbal and written communication
Proactive, organized, and self-directed
Comfortable working independently
Strong follow-through
Availability for 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Central Time schedule
