About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the orchestration layer within the VIA C&S platform
  • Own lifecycle orchestration across systems
  • Define API contracts and integration models
  • Ensure data and lifecycle consistency
  • Drive event-based architectures
  • Bridge backend, partner, and experience layers
  • Resolve integration and flow issues
  • Enable partner onboarding, including RS2
  • Work hands-on with API orchestration, lifecycle flow, and system integration

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree, or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
  • 10+ years in platform/integration roles
  • Strong API and distributed systems experience
  • Experience with event-driven systems and partner integrations
  • Strong systems thinking
  • Ability to work with data/SQL
  • Experience collaborating with senior engineering leaders
  • Hands-on experience using AI/ML, generative AI, copilots, or agentic automation to enhance product discovery, requirements development, operational analysis, data investigation, and daily execution workflows
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage technical and non-technical global audiences
  • Ability to translate customer needs into solutions that drive measurable business outcomes
  • Autonomous and proactive execution in ambiguous environments
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working across diverse teams and sharing knowledge effectively
  • Ability to travel 5-10% of the time
