About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify and deliver high-impact projects for Visa clients in North America
- Drive a managed services pillar focused on Technology Advisory and Implementation
- Help clients assess technical architecture, envision future state, and define long-term roadmaps
- Build managed technical program and engineering teams to implement client strategies
- Lead consultative selling initiatives to uncover client needs and managed-services opportunities
- Engage Visa internal teams in product and technology strategy and planning discussions
- Present Visa and partner solutions to clients
- Identify client decision-making stakeholders and processes
- Manage a sales pipeline and sell consulting work against a sales target
- Maintain records for pricing approvals, internal routing, legal/funding approvals, and revenue recognition
- Identify white-space challenges and opportunities across client sets
- Develop bespoke and scalable products using Visa and third-party partner assets
- Identify third-party partners to complement solution sets
- Work with delivery partners to present Visa solutions for implementation
- Manage projects and programs and deliver solutions
- Explain technical and non-technical aspects of solutions to clients
- Build strategic relationships with internal and external clients
- Report to a Director within VCA as an individual contributor
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree, or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
- Relevant experience at a large management / IT consulting firm or US Financial Institution
- Experience delivering payments industry technology solutions and services, including money movement, dispute/pre-dispute, instalments, workflow orchestration, and core banking
- Experience serving consumer, small business, and commercial clients
- Experience working in a techno-functional capacity between business functions and technology teams
- Client engagement lifecycle management experience, including proposal creation, pricing, pitching, SOW writing, and execution oversight
- Technology mindset and awareness of digital trends and applications
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
- Ability to handle numerous projects concurrently
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with interdisciplinary groups
- Ability to use formal and informal influencing skills inside and outside the organization
- Ability to travel 5–10% of the time
