About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and implement test solutions across all testing phases
- Design and implement automation frameworks from scratch
- Develop AI-assisted test solutions and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines
- Own the design and implementation of AI tooling, AI agents, and MCP server components for intelligent test generation, failure analysis, and defect insights
- Build and maintain UI and API testing automation frameworks
- Perform automation using Selenium, Playwright, Robot Framework, and RestAssured
- Integrate automation frameworks and AI tooling into CI/CD pipelines
- Write maintainable code using Java and/or Python
- Participate in unit testing, code reviews, and continuous integration
- Apply engineering best practices, coding standards, and security considerations
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and SRE teams on quality-by-design practices
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor's degree
- 3–7 years' experience in software engineering, with a strong emphasis on test automation or test platform development
- Experience developing AI or GenAI-based solutions, AI agents, or internal engineering platforms
- Hands-on experience in test design and execution based on business scenarios
- Strong communication and ability to collaborate with global teams
- Strong experience building automation frameworks from scratch
- Hands-on expertise with Selenium, Playwright, Robot Framework, and RestAssured
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control, and DevOps practices
- Familiarity with cloud-native and microservices-based systems
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills
