About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide outstanding technical support to a wide range of businesses and their staff as part of the National Service Desk
  • Support endpoints, including hardware, operating systems and applications
  • Support identity, cyber security, Microsoft 365 and office technologies
  • Use the latest technical management solutions
  • Deliver remote support by phone, email, portal and chat
  • Deliver onsite client support
  • Participate in the delivery of broader services, including changes and projects
  • Work across multiple client environments
  • Respond to incidents and service requests while considering their impact on clients’ work
  • Help clients use technology to enable business success

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Generally at least 2 years’ experience in similar roles, although candidates with less experience may be considered
  • Experience working at an MSP is highly desirable
  • Good technical skills and experience with Windows 11
  • Experience managing endpoints, including deployment via Autopilot and management via Intune
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications and services including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive for Business and office productivity tools
  • Experience with Entra ID for identity and access management, including MFA and conditional access
  • Experience with cyber security tools
  • Relevant Microsoft Certifications, or actively working towards them
  • M365 Certified Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102) certification, or completion anticipated within the first four months of employment
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Passion for customer service, patience and empathy
  • Excellent understanding of service desk processes
  • Solid problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team or independently
  • Reliability and dependability, taking ownership of assigned work
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and training
  • Australian driver’s licence
  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident status
  • Agreement to complete a Criminal History Clearance Check and security background check
  • Ability to participate in an after-hours support roster and occasional after-hours/weekend work
