About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Report directly to the Technical Services Manager
  • Provide ROM figures for the Production Plan after initial request by the Technical Planning Engineer
  • Raise and revise quotes and workpacks/work orders within the ERP system, including labour review, warranty/service plan review, and necessary notes
  • Raise and revise physical workpacks, including printing company task cards and editing and printing maintenance data
  • Review and understand Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins and assess their applicability to quoted or performed work
  • Create and modify templates (canned squawks), including labour, parts, tooling, instructions, services, access requirements, and notes
  • Update AMP revisions in the ERP system
  • Investigate and approve or reject requested changes to templates
  • Monitor and update maintenance data on company servers with IT support
  • Monitor and distribute new Airworthiness Directives for the approved fleet
  • Maintain quote/workpack tracking and workload allocation documentation, including historical/trend data when required
  • Complete physical workpack tracking documentation for Technical Records
  • Write and maintain user guides/TPMs for the Technical Preparation department
  • Report maintenance data errors to CAMO
  • Assist the Technical Services Manager with budget figures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with the ability to interface across technical functions
  • Ability to interpret and document technical data from various sources
  • Experience in aircraft maintenance, engineering or technical services, preferably within Part 145, Part M or OEM environment
  • Thorough understanding of PART 145, particularly 145.A.47, and basic understanding of PART M
  • Previous exposure to proposal writing, tendering or project estimation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP software
  • Fluent written and spoken English
