About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the design of innovative, user-centered products aligned with business strategy
- Influence product direction and advocate for design excellence across the organization
- Mentor and coach designers, especially junior team members
- Strategize, create, and deliver guest-facing cinema software products
- Present design concepts to stakeholders, executives, and external partners
- Define success criteria and performance metrics for design initiatives
- Align design decisions with business objectives, user needs, and market trends
- Identify and mitigate design risks
- Drive end-to-end design processes including research, discovery, ideation, workshops, interaction design, and visual design
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and interaction flows
- Ensure accessibility standards and inclusive design principles are followed
- Collaborate with engineering to balance technical feasibility and design quality
- Support QA testing to validate UX requirements
- Maintain and evolve research methodologies, documentation, and design systems
- Ensure design documentation and assets are developer-ready
- Facilitate workshops, usability testing, and user research
- Identify innovation opportunities and propose solutions improving user experience and business outcomes
- Manage conflicting priorities and resolve design challenges
Requirements
What you’ll need- Extensive experience delivering UX/UI design solutions
- Proven experience in product design with a strong portfolio showcasing strategic, user-centered solutions
- Proven strong understanding of accessibility and inclusive design principles
- Bachelor’s degree in design, HCI, or equivalent professional experience
- Proven ability to influence product strategy and contribute to business outcomes through design
- Proven ability to own and drive the design process by independently defining requirements, scoping projects and prioritising tasks
- Comfortable working independently with minimal direction
- Understanding of visual design hierarchy, typography, iconography, and layout
- Ability to produce fresh, simple yet elegant layouts and interactions that are highly usable
- Expert in Figma, Sketch, Axure, and XD
- Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Miro and TFS
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
