About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Bring Vita Industrial’s load control solutions to market
  • Own the entire sales process from prospecting and business development through proposal development, customer demonstrations, negotiation, and deal closure
  • Work directly with large contractors, crane rental companies, industrial service providers, utilities, and other lifting and material-handling stakeholders
  • Cultivate customer relationships after successful sales to drive adoption, expansion opportunities, and long-term account growth
  • Understand customers, the industry, and how they relate to company products
  • Travel throughout an assigned territory to secure business with new and existing customers
  • Participate in networking events and attend trade shows
  • Generate leads for new opportunities and follow up on inbound leads
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers and acquire new customers
  • Maintain customer relationships and ensure customer needs are met
  • Monitor industry trends, competitors, and new product developments
  • Ensure territory brand awareness meets company expectations
  • Track sales goals and report results in the CRM system
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from college or university and 5 years’ Sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience selling into industrial, construction, crane and rigging, utility, heavy equipment, manufacturing, energy, or related B2B markets
  • Proven track record of successful sales performance, including lead generation, qualification, negotiation, and closing deals
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with clients at various levels within an organization
  • Prior experience in an Outside Sales or Field Sales role
  • CRM experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Exceptional networking and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced growth environment
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of collaboration at all levels
  • Proficient in Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Close proximity to a major airport is a must
  • Willingness to travel 50–75% depending on candidate location
