About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead training and enablement programs supporting the Donor Recruitment function across the enterprise
  • Drive learning strategies, onboarding, operational readiness, and performance development initiatives
  • Lead the strategy, development, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programs
  • Develop and facilitate new-hire training within the donor recruitment function
  • Lead and support training initiatives for blood drive coordinators
  • Maintain and facilitate standardized job training, ongoing training, and competency verification
  • Oversee training curriculum delivery, program goals, and performance measures
  • Accommodate varied learning styles and a geographically dispersed workforce
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on donor recruitment systems and processes
  • Analyze and evaluate training effectiveness and communicate outcomes to donor recruitment leadership
  • Partner with leadership and field teams to implement, adopt, and sustain training programs and best practices
  • Translate business initiatives and process changes into learning, communication, and operational readiness solutions
  • Lead learning and readiness components of organizational change initiatives
  • Develop and execute strategic learning and capability-building plans aligned with organizational objectives
  • Perform assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations
  • Bring compliance issues to management's attention
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Five years of progressively responsible experience in training, learning and development, donor recruitment, sales enablement, or a related field required
  • One year developing and conducting training programs required
  • Two years supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Experience in learning and development, sales enablement, and change management
  • Leadership, communication, and project management skills
  • Must reside in an eligible location; Vitalant does not currently hire individuals residing in Alabama, Alaska, Delaware, Hawaii, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, or Vermont
