About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Engage with donors to schedule their next blood donation
- Coordinate donations at fixed site locations for present, past, and new donors
- Enhance the donor experience by providing excellent customer service
- Collaborate on specialized calling projects, including conversions, reminder calls, and engaging first-time donors
- Support blood centers by implementing innovative recruitment strategies
- Manage donor scheduling
- Offer expertise on eligibility and donation requirements
- Contribute to onboarding new hires
- Conduct refresher training for new and existing staff
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED required
- Six months experience in customer service
- Two years of customer service experience preferred
- Proficient computer skills
- Schedule availability Tuesday - Saturday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm PDT
- Ability to work onsite at a Vitalant center location in Tempe, Arizona or Lafayette, Louisiana
