About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform all duties related to the efficient, safe, and compliant collection of blood and blood products
  • Conduct donor interviews and whole blood phlebotomy
  • Assist the donor care team in setting up blood drives within a 100-mile range
  • Create comfortable, convenient, and consistent blood donation experiences
  • Greet donors, keeping them comfortable and informed
  • Perform blood draws
  • Manage accurate and organized donor information
  • Work collaboratively as a member of the team
  • Receive coaching, encouragement, and support from managers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED - Required
  • Active driver's license with a clean driving record - Required
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Able to lift 40 pounds - Required
  • Phlebotomy experience is not required; training provided
