About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and enforce pharmacy agreements, including SLA commitments, participation terms, and commercial pricing
- Verify pharmacy licensure and multi-state authority, USP <795>/<797>/<800> status, formulary and pricing, and test orders before go-live
- Identify network coverage gaps by medication, dosage form, and geography; recruit or activate capacity
- Bridge VITL’s platform and pharmacy systems with Product and Engineering
- Streamline order management, formulary syncing, reporting, and logistics workflows
- Monitor pharmacy pricing against market rates, volume benchmarks, and competing sources
- Set fulfillment standards, track fill rates and response times, and publish performance data
- Resolve delayed, cancelled, misfilled, or quality-flagged orders
- Coordinate pharmacy, clinic, and customer support teams on escalations
- Conduct routine partner check-ins and quarterly QBRs using shared scorecards
- Validate pharmacy charges against agreed pricing and catch errors or overcharges
- Manage VITL catalog and formulary changes
- Maintain current licenses, credentials, COAs, and compliance documentation
- Build the weekly Pharmacy Digest and pharmacy-success playbook
- Plan capacity with high-volume partners so the network scales ahead of clinic growth
Requirements
What you’ll need- Background in marketplace supply-side operations OR compounding pharmacy operations; ideally both
- Working knowledge of compounding pharmacy production, pricing, and shipping
- Knowledge of 503A versus 503B distinctions
- Knowledge of USP <795>/<797>/<800> standards
- Knowledge of dosage forms and facility-specific compliance requirements
- Familiarity with state board of pharmacy requirements, accreditation standards, and audit-ready documentation
- Experience enforcing commercial agreements and pricing commitments
- Fluency with operational data and fulfillment dashboards
- Familiarity with the cash-pay compounding space, including GLP-1s, NAD+, peptides, and IV wellness
- Ability to partner with Product and Engineering as a domain expert
- Strong follow-through and clean documentation habits
- Must follow HIPAA, company privacy policies, and least-privilege access practices
- Must be eligible to work in the United States and not require visa sponsorship, according to the application eligibility question
