About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive the development of Enterprise and Strategic Risk Management by structuring risks, causes, impacts, controls, and response strategies;
- Support Business Continuity Management by conducting Business Impact Analyses (BIAs), preparing and updating business continuity plans, carrying out tests and simulations, and monitoring response and recovery strategies;
- Consolidate and maintain up-to-date Risk Maps and Risk Matrices, assessing the impact, likelihood, exposure, and evolution of the Company's key risks;
- Promote the integration of Risk Management with the Company's other governance functions, such as Internal Audit and Compliance, strengthening an integrated perspective and coordinated approach to risk management;
- Develop and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and other mechanisms for tracking risk exposure;
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and executive presentations to support discussions and decision-making by the Executive Board, CEO, and governance forums;
- Map and monitor processes, risks, and controls, identifying deficiencies and tracking mitigation plans and their impact on reducing risk exposure with the relevant owners;
- Plan and perform control design and operating effectiveness testing, identifying deficiencies, root causes, and improvement recommendations;
- Lead interviews and workshops with business areas and leaders to identify, assess, and prioritize operational and strategic risks;
- Develop and deliver training, communication, and risk culture initiatives, including training sessions, workshops, and awareness campaigns;
- Serve as a technical reference for business areas, contributing to the application of best practices in Risk Management, Internal Controls, and Corporate Governance, including COSO ERM.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field;
- Experience in Risk Management, Internal Controls, Compliance, and/or Internal Audit, as well as Business Continuity Management, preferably in highly complex corporate environments;
- Experience at a Big Four firm or specialized consulting firm is a plus;
- Strong knowledge of Enterprise and Strategic Risk Management, risk and control assessments, control design and operating effectiveness testing, mitigation plans, and risk exposure monitoring;
- Knowledge of Risk Management and Internal Control methodologies and frameworks, especially COSO ERM and COSO Internal Control;
- Ability to analyze, consolidate, and communicate risk information, including the preparation of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), dashboards, reports, and executive presentations;
- Experience conducting interviews, meetings, and workshops with business areas and leaders at various levels;
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools is a plus;
- Analytical, proactive, and collaborative profile, with strong communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work constructively with business areas and leaders.
