About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee and manage patient care and clinical operations within assigned regional locations
- Uphold company policies, procedures, mission, values, and expectations
- Execute protocols and quality initiatives to improve clinical outcomes and patient experience
- Directly oversee Advanced Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Medical Assistants, Administrative Assistants, and other clinical staff
- Manage team members through 1:1s, measurable goals, hiring, termination, evaluations, discipline, documentation, and reporting
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, resources, staff, co-workers, physicians, and patients
- Oversee labor costs and supply utilization
- Lead, coordinate, supervise, monitor, delegate, and document patient care activities
- Collaborate across departments and disciplines to provide optimal patient care
- Ensure and coordinate training, growth, and development opportunities for clinical team members
- Develop and uphold processes, policies, and procedures aligned with industry, JCAHO, and accreditation standards
- Ensure compliant delivery of patient services under company, accreditation, State, and Federal requirements
- Manage patient and staff schedules and staff-to-patient ratios
- Serve on the Quality Committee and infusion center Governing Body with the Medical Director
- Act as Infection Control Manager for infusion-center surveillance activities
- Ensure nursing and Advanced Practice Provider documentation, assessments, plans of care, admissions, and monthly records are complete
- Schedule quality, medical records, fire and safety, and emergency preparedness audits
- Implement patient and staff satisfaction surveys and report results to the Quality Committee
- Complete payroll, census, drug inventory, quality, and month-end reporting
- Review and approve clinic invoices and direct-report expense reports
- Review billing and inventory reports to ensure drugs are billed appropriately
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be a Registered Nurse
- Current and unencumbered State Nursing or Advanced Practitioner License, required
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field, preferred
- RN with Associate's with leadership experience considered
- 2-4 years of progressive healthcare management experience, required
- Valid Drivers License and insured reliable transportation to travel between facilities or other meetings, required
- Experience managing or supervising direct reports and business operations, required
- Experience managing or supervising direct reports in a multi-clinic setting, preferred
- Healthcare experience - 10 years
- Leadership experience - 5 years
- Demonstrated record of and commitment to safety
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with staff members, patients and physicians
- Proficient knowledge of computers, Microsoft Suite, CRM software, and databases
- Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- Ability to use required PPE and meet the stated physical demands
- Proof of eligibility to work in the US
