About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare financial flow projections, such as NPV
Prepare physical and financial OPEX projections
Monitor weekly OPEX projections and monthly closing, explaining variances against the Budget, Forecast, and previous weeks
Monitor and critically assess the budgeting process with the responsible departments
Collaborate with departments across the directorate and Finance to understand variances and align explanations
Prepare results presentations focused on OPEX for executive leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields
Postgraduate qualification in Finance (not mandatory)
Knowledge of OPEX and its key drivers, preferably in the telecommunications sector
Knowledge of financial concepts (WACC, NPV, LTV)
Advanced PowerPoint skills for creating high-impact presentations
Advanced Excel skills (VBA not mandatory) for financial projections
Knowledge of Python (not mandatory)
Knowledge of programming logic
Position exclusively for Black and Brown and/or LGBTQIA+ people
