About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supervise SDH network elements (Nortel, Huawei, Alcatel, Marconi, Siemens, and ECI)
- Manage alarms
- Analyze and correlate faults
- Support adjacent teams, including O&M, B2B, RF, and field technicians, via Genesis chat
- Prepare reports for Management and Coordination teams
- Participate in crisis rooms, analyzing mobile network and B2B service failures in real time
- Evaluate network solutions and equipment to improve performance and maintain quality standards while optimizing resources across fixed-line and mobile networks
- Comply with the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System and participate in related programs
- Understand and implement Telefônica’s Environmental Policy in daily activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma required — certificate of completion
- Flexible schedule and availability to work rotating shifts: 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., or 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- Knowledge of IP networking and routing protocols
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Industry certification is a plus
