About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a multidisciplinary Information Security Analyst in the SOC
- Handle tickets involving various technologies while meeting SLAs
- Provide customer support
- Execute end-to-end incident containment and mitigation
- Respond to tickets promptly
- Identify attack behaviors
- Analyze logs
- Perform validation, containment, and mitigation measures
- Lead war rooms
- Close tickets
- Prepare reports
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree or formal education in Information Security
- Experience working in a SOC
- Knowledge of SIEM, EDR/XDR, WAF, DLP, and IPS tools
- Knowledge of network architecture and IP addressing
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux (server and workstation environments)
- Knowledge of ITSM
- Knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK Framework
