About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Install and configure equipment for projects involving Cisco Routing & Switching (R&S) and Wireless technologies
- Configure Cisco Wireless Controllers and Cisco Prime
- Conduct wireless site surveys
- Work on-site or remotely at client locations, following the plans established by the technical leads responsible for the projects
- Prepare daily reports and the project’s final documentation
- Prepare pre-execution documentation by collecting data from technical proposals and information about clients’ network environments
- Participate in kickoff meetings, gathering information about the environment and assisting with the validation of project execution requirements
- Prepare post-execution documentation detailing configurations, topology, protocols, software versions, and IP addressing
- Open support tickets and engage technical assistance for hardware, software, or bug-related issues
- Configure access to clients’ network environments, analyze topologies and technologies, identify failures, and propose improvements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Knowledge of other vendors, such as Huawei, Aruba, and Fortinet, is a plus
- Cisco CCNA certification
- Experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 network equipment and routing protocols
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting Catalyst and Nexus switches
- Willingness and availability to travel
