About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work on the VGR N2 NOC team, ensuring the availability, stability, and performance of SD-WAN networks
- Administer and operate network environments using Fortinet, Cisco Meraki, and Cisco Viptela
- Configure and manage SD-WAN, IPSec VPN, firewalls, NAT, BGP, OSPF, and QoS
- Troubleshoot WAN connectivity, performance issues, packet loss, latency, VPNs, and SD-WAN failover
- Apply configurations through FortiManager and analyze logs and events using FortiAnalyzer
- Monitor link performance and availability, proactively identifying failures and degradation
- Implement controlled changes in the network environment, following change management and security practices
- Collaborate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve incidents and conduct root cause analysis (RCA)
- Document technical procedures and support automation and continuous improvement initiatives for the network environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field
- Experience with networking and SD-WAN technology
- Fortinet NSE 3 (Associate) certification or higher
- Intermediate English proficiency, including reading, writing, and technical troubleshooting
- Ability to work under pressure
- Innovative mindset and a willingness to think outside the box
- Postgraduate specialization in Networking, Telecommunications, Information Security, or a related field (preferred)
- Fortinet NSE 4 / FCP (Fortinet Certified Professional) certification or higher (preferred)
- Cisco ECMS1 and ECMS2 certifications (preferred)
