About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a specialist consultant in Telecommunications Network Security
- Define and evolve security architectures for corporate environments and telecommunications networks
- Develop protection strategies for LAN, WAN, WLAN, data center, and cloud environments
- Support network infrastructure and security modernization projects
- Conduct security assessments and risk analyses
- Develop security policies, standards, and guidelines
- Conduct vulnerability analyses and recommend mitigation plans
- Serve as a technical reference for critical security incidents
- Participate in internal and external audits
- Ensure compliance with corporate security frameworks and controls
- Guide technical teams on network and cybersecurity best practices
- Prepare executive reports for management and leadership
- Support business decisions and digital transformation initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Networks, Telecommunications, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- ITIL® 4 Foundation certification
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification
- Knowledge of IT service management
- Knowledge of incident management
- Knowledge of problem management
- Knowledge of change management
- Knowledge of continual improvement
- Knowledge of governance and value delivery
- Proven knowledge of Security and Risk Management
- Proven knowledge of Asset Security
- Proven knowledge of Security Architecture and Engineering
- Proven knowledge of Communication and Network Security
- Proven knowledge of Identity and Access Management
- Proven knowledge of Security Assessment and Testing
- Proven knowledge of Security Operations
- Proven knowledge of Software Development Security
- 2 years of experience with Agile methodologies
- 4 years of experience analyzing network and server infrastructure for business applications
- 2 years of experience with cloud computing environments
- Postgraduate degree or MBA in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Networks, or IT Governance (preferred)
