About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer, configure, and maintain F5 BIG-IP LTM, DNS, and ASM environments
- Implement, configure, and optimize Web Application Firewall (WAF) policies
- Analyze, handle, and respond to application security incidents
- Monitor security events, identify vulnerabilities, and propose improvements
- Create and maintain protection policies against attacks such as OWASP Top 10 threats, SQL injection, XSS, DDoS, and bots
- Perform troubleshooting in critical production environments
- Prepare technical documentation, operating procedures, and reports
- Participate in projects involving the deployment, upgrade, and migration of security solutions
- Administer, support, and enhance security environments, focusing on F5 and WAF solutions
- Work at Vivo Vita, a specialist in technology, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity
Requirements
What you’ll need- Certified Administrator Big-IP: 201 TMOS Administration (required)
- Certified Technical Specialist (F5-CTS) – Big-IP LTM (301A + 301B)
- Certified Technical Specialist (F5-CTS) – Big-IP DNS Specialist
- Certified Technical Specialist (F5-CTS) – Big-IP ASM Specialist
- All three F5-CTS certifications must be held concurrently, in addition to the Certified Administrator Big-IP 201 TMOS Administration certification
