About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and enhance network security infrastructure, focusing on Proxy and Content Filtering, while ensuring the availability, performance, and protection of corporate environments
- Support the Executive Directorate in defining, implementing, and maintaining technical controls that ensure secure internet access, compliance, and risk mitigation
- Administer and maintain Proxy and Content Filtering solutions in a corporate environment
- Monitor security events, alerts, and indicators related to network traffic and web browsing
- Support the implementation of content access, blocking, allowlisting, and categorization policies
- Analyze incidents, investigate deviations, and handle security events
- Participate in projects to improve, expand, and upgrade network security infrastructure
- Prepare technical documentation, operating procedures, and change records
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to provide support, make adjustments, and resolve issues
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, best practices, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience with network infrastructure and network security in a corporate environment
- Experience administering Proxy and Content Filtering solutions
- Knowledge of network protocols, routing, DNS, HTTP, and HTTPS
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot network and security incidents
- Experience with monitoring, logs, and investigation of technical events
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Networking, Information Security, or a related field
- Previous experience in large-scale, high-availability environments
- Knowledge of security solutions such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, or equivalent technologies
- Experience integrating web access controls with corporate policies and compliance requirements
- Certifications in networking or information security
- Experience automating operational routines and driving continuous improvement
- Knowledge of risk analysis and incident response
- Experience with security platform migration, upgrade, or consolidation projects
