About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer, configure, and enhance NGFW environments
- Design and implement SD-WAN solutions for corporate connectivity
- Serve as the technical focal point for critical incidents and advanced troubleshooting
- Define and review security, segmentation, and access control policies
- Perform risk analyses and hardening of network environments
- Lead migration, expansion, and modernization projects for security infrastructure
- Support internal and external audits related to network security
- Develop automation for recurring operational activities
- Produce technical documentation, diagrams, and operating procedures
- Serve as a technical mentor to mid-level and junior analysts
- Own the design, implementation, administration, optimization, and ongoing support of network security environments
- Act as a subject-matter expert in traditional firewalls, NGFWs, and SD-WAN
- Serve as the technical authority for projects involving the transformation, operation, governance, and evolution of corporate connectivity and security
Requirements
What you’ll need- Advanced experience with Fortinet FortiGate
- Advanced experience with Huawei Firewalls
- Advanced experience with Fortinet Secure SD-WAN
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and QoS
- Knowledge of site-to-site VPN, remote access VPN, IPS/IDS, URL filtering, and SSL inspection
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Networks, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- One of the following certifications required: Fortinet Certified Solution Specialist (FCSS) Network Security / NSE 7: Secure Networking, or Huawei HCIA
- Analytical mindset and advanced troubleshooting skills
- Strong prioritization skills in critical environments
- Executive-level and technical communication skills
- Ability to provide technical leadership without direct people-management responsibilities
- Collaborative, results-oriented profile
- Strong documentation skills
