About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform advanced penetration tests on Web applications, APIs, and Mobile applications in internal and external environments
- Conduct assessments using frameworks such as OWASP and PTES, along with industry best practices
- Perform in-depth Active Directory analyses, including attack surface mapping, identification of structural weaknesses, and assessment of real-world risks
- Review and test the external perimeter, identifying unintended exposure and potential exploitation paths
- Produce technical reports with clear evidence and objective explanations, as well as executive versions for leadership
- Validate remediation efforts and retest critical environments
- Assess external integrations and dependencies
- Identify authorization flaws, such as IDOR/BOLA
- Help improve internal processes, tools, and offensive security practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Cyber Defense, Computer Networks, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Solid experience in penetration testing across Web, API, Mobile, and infrastructure environments
- Strong knowledge of networks and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, authentication mechanisms, and sessions
- Hands-on experience with API security, including REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and gRPC
- Understanding of endpoints, HTTP methods, and versioning
- Knowledge of JWT, OAuth 2.0, authorization flows, and scopes
- Preferred certifications: Ethical Hacker, OSCP, CRTO, Pentest+, eJPT, eWPT, eWPTX, or DCPT
