About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the field technician team on a daily basis, lead team rituals, and promote best practices
  • Set individual objectives and track individual and team quality KPIs
  • Monitor electrical certifications, CACES aerial work platform certification, PPE use, and day-to-day HR matters
  • Participate in the recruitment, onboarding, and skills development of technicians
  • Assess the installation complexity of sites and validate technical assumptions before costing
  • Analyze pre-scoping files and identify on-site red flags
  • Conduct pre-construction site visits and advise on equipment and installation constraints
  • Resolve site issues related to access, connections, structures, and roads
  • Oversee execution files, acceptance certificates, and as-built documentation (DOE)
  • Verify the reliability of field information and conduct post-installation inspections
  • Track the resolution of outstanding items through to final acceptance without reservations
  • Support the review of purchase orders, technical proposals, and execution drawings for public-sector contracts
  • Develop the evaluation framework for intervention reports and produce audit reports and corrective action plans
  • Ensure the technical and regulatory compliance of installations in accordance with NF C 15-100 / NF C 17-200
  • Monitor the quality of subcontractors’ work and track corrective actions
  • Track equipment returns and on-site troubleshooting attempts
  • Oversee equipment receipt, mock-up assembly, testing, and packaging
  • Perform field diagnostics and configuration: IP/4G connectivity, VMS, and electrical wiring
  • Improve installation, maintenance, and after-sales service return procedures
  • Monitor activity dashboards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5–10 years of experience managing technical teams, supervising construction works, or managing low-voltage technical projects in video surveillance, electronic security, telecommunications, energy, or IoT
  • Experience supervising and developing a field-based team
  • Experience installing equipment on a variety of supports: streetlight poles, masts, façades, public lighting cabinets, and solar-/battery-powered standalone sites
  • Strong foundations in electrical systems and IP connectivity
  • Daily use of a VMS (Genetec, Milestone, or equivalent)
  • Bachelor’s to Master’s degree (Bac+2 to Bac+5) in electrical engineering, electrotechnology, networking, or power engineering
  • Experience preparing, reviewing, and defending execution files, acceptance certificates, and as-built documentation for public-sector contracts through to client acceptance
  • Ability to read and interpret CCTPs and technical proposals
  • Category B driving licence
  • CACES 3B and aerial work platform certification are a plus
  • Availability for 5–10 trips within France per month
