About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build, lead, and scale Vocca’s US revenue engine from the ground up
  • Personally run discovery, demos, and close early deals alongside founding AEs
  • Diagnose the current sales motion and shape the US sales playbook
  • Coordinate early customer onboarding, including kickoff, setup, training, and go-live
  • Drive pipeline and closing while converting wins into a documented, repeatable process
  • Establish sales metrics, forecasting, pipeline reviews, CRM hygiene, and qualified-opportunity criteria
  • Define the hiring plan and source, interview, and make initial hires
  • Feed customer objections, workflows, and integration needs back to Product and leadership
  • Hire, ramp, and coach AEs and SDRs
  • Own the US sales number, including pipeline generation, conversion, forecasting, and quota attainment
  • Codify ICP, MEDDICC-style sales processes, pricing and packaging, ROI messaging, and procurement/security navigation
  • Build compensation plans, territory design, enablement, hiring, and onboarding systems
  • Lead complex multi-stakeholder healthcare-group deals and enable the team to manage them independently

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience
  • Strong full-cycle closing experience
  • Experience leading, mentoring, or building a team is a strong plus
  • Ability to operate as a player-coach
  • Ability to build 0→1 processes, playbooks, hiring, forecasting, and culture
  • High autonomy and comfort with ambiguity
  • Extreme ambition, ownership, humility, and customer focus
  • Experience selling to healthcare provider organizations or adjacent health tech is a strong plus
  • Experience hiring, scaling, or leading a US sales team is a strong plus
  • Experience navigating security, compliance, and integration stakeholders is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with Attio, Notion, Slack, Apollo, or equivalent tools is a strong plus
  • Existing network in US healthcare operations is a strong plus
  • Willingness to work at least 3 days a week in the Manhattan office
  • Ability to work in the United States; immigration sponsorship may be relevant
