About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead centralized governance and execution of Core Network projects across India
Manage end-to-end project lifecycle, including planning, solution validation, deployment, integration, testing, migration, and commercial go-live
Identify project risks and dependencies and implement mitigation plans
Collaborate with Planning, SNOC, COG, IT, Security, Commercial, Billing, and Circle teams
Provide technical governance and strategic inputs for PID preparation, product launches, capacity expansion, modernization, and network transformation
Govern software upgrades, network migrations, and domain changes while ensuring service continuity
Lead brownfield modernization, node redeployment, and cloud transformation programs
Drive First-Time-Right execution through governance, automation, quality controls, and operational excellence
Establish governance with OEMs, system integrators, and managed service partners
Ensure security, regulatory, audit, and risk management compliance
Drive operational efficiency through process automation, standardization, inventory optimization, and hardware reuse
Monitor project performance through dashboards, KPIs, governance reviews, and leadership updates
Ensure project documentation, operational acceptance, and handover to COG and SNOC
Lead, mentor, and develop Core Project teams across India
Manage team performance, goal setting, succession planning, coaching, and individual development plans
Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams and senior leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need

B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Communication
Minimum 12 years of total working experience
At least 6 years of Core (IMS/Packet Core) project management experience
Core Network Project & Program Management
Knowledge of IMS, Packet Core, and Enterprise Platforms
Cloud Network Modernization & Virtualization
Network Architecture, Integration & Migration
Multi-vendor ecosystem management, including Nokia, Cisco, Ericsson, Oracle, Mavenir, and HPE
Project Governance & PMO
Risk, Compliance & Regulatory Governance
Automation & Process Excellence
OPEX/CAPEX Optimization
Executive Stakeholder & Vendor Management
Strategic thinking
