About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage and maintain day-to-day operations for network-related daily faults, configuration changes and outages on Packet Core nodes, IP switches and routers, and platforms for Enterprise IoT PAN India customers
Provide 24×7 support during emergency and fault incidents
Troubleshoot customer complaints on call, maintain resolution SLA and TAT, and provide RCA
Troubleshoot service outages using Wireshark traces, system logs, event logs and alarm correlation within TAT
Manage end-to-end new solution POC/UAT testing for new IoT customers on Packet Core and IP nodes
Proactively identify issues and perform reactive problem management for repeated incidents

Requirements

What you’ll need

Candidate must have work experience of 2+ years in packet core/or IP domain
Candidate should be willing to work in (24*7) shifts at Pune location and work from office (no WFH)
Sound knowledge of Packet core 2G, 3G, 4G & IOT technology with hands on troubleshooting & trace analysis skills in Packet Core domain- GGSN/SGW/PGW/SGSN/MME or in IP routing and switching domain
Good communication (read, write & speak) skills
Ability to work in team and collaborate
Ability to take individual level ownership and accountability for completion of assigned tasks
Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders within VIL or partner teams
Any IP certification/knowledge is preferred, e.g. CCNA, CCNP
