About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide operations and third-line support for the customer IT system
- Respond promptly to and resolve customer-escalated cases
- Identify root causes and handle incidents at the problem-management level
- Participate in deployment and support of IT systems and applications
- Update software systems, apply patches, and suggest improvements
- Create well-designed, testable, efficient code and tools for monitoring, alarming, and supporting IT systems and applications
- Assist with preparation for production deployment of software component releases
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Good Linux system administration knowledge
- Basic understanding of network protocols and components
- Basic understanding of database administration
- Basic understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized applications
- Good knowledge of automation and scripting
- Basic understanding of monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK
- Basic understanding of DevOps concepts
- Basic understanding of virtualization and virtualization software
- Basic knowledge of AWS, OpenShift, and cloud solutions
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written
- Ability to deliver under pressure
- Flexibility to work under stress
- Strong time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
