About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the Senior Manager, Business Process SOX and Internal Controls
Complete process design work for allocated processes
Prepare close meetings with process owners and HODs/CFOs and obtain agreement on gaps, remediations, and key controls
Liaise with the ITGC SOX team to understand the full control landscape, including SODs, IUCs, joiners, and leavers
Perform internal, s302, and s404 management control testing
Document design and testing results in process maps, RACMs, and testing templates
Maintain process maps and RACMs through effective change management
Prepare SOX SteerCo and Audit Committee updates
Provide training and guidance on SOX requirements and controls
Maintain internal design, testing, and remediation logs
Provide pragmatic remediation recommendations meeting Sarbanes-Oxley Act requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

2-3 years’ experience of working on SOX programmes
Big 4 experience preferable (although not mandatory)
Strong knowledge of the requirement of the Sarbanes Oxley Act
Proficiency in using process mapping tools (i.e. MS Visio, GRC tools etc.)
Effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
Knowledge of French and /or Portuguese desirable
Strong project management skills
Proven experience of communicating and engaging across multiple departments
Open to international travels
Satisfactory pre-employment screening, including right-to-work confirmation, employment history verification, and criminal record check where permitted by local law
