About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the USGAAP to IFRS bridge
- Prepare and file statutory financial statements across all group entities and jurisdictions
- Manage the external audit process for statutory accounts
- Coordinate with auditors and local advisors
- Ensure compliance with local GAAP/IFRS requirements and statutory filing deadlines across the UK, US, Norway, Luxembourg, and Spain
- Partner with the Corporate Secretary on entity management and filing calendars
- Maintain technical accounting positions and disclosures required for statutory accounts
- Build and maintain a statutory reporting calendar across all jurisdictions
- Coordinate with local finance teams, tax advisors, and registered agents
- Standardise statutory reporting processes and templates as new entities are added
- Support ad hoc statutory reporting needs arising from financings, joint ventures, and M&A activity
- Assist with ERP implementation as it impacts statutory reporting
Requirements
What you’ll need- Significant experience in statutory reporting, ideally within a multi-jurisdiction group or professional services environment
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP/IFRS
- Familiarity with US, Nordic, or other European statutory reporting regimes is a strong advantage
- Experience managing external audit relationships and statutory audit processes
- Comfortable working across multiple entities and jurisdictions simultaneously
- Ability to track deadlines without prompting
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong technical accounting judgement
- Organised and self-directed
- Right to work in the country where the role is based, or eligibility for visa sponsorship
