About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a legal partner to Voltz’s business and support teams, providing legal advice and proposing legally sound, viable solutions
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal instruments related to partnerships, suppliers, service providers, and Voltz’s products and services, including Banking as a Service (BaaS) operations
- Support the structuring, implementation, maintenance, and evolution of products and services by assessing legal risks related to contracting, collections, relationships with customers and partners, and the execution of operations
- Draft and review policies, procedures, terms of use, regulations, notices, customer responses, and other legal documents
- Handle and follow up on civil and consumer law matters, both judicial and administrative, together with external law firms, monitoring deadlines and contingencies
- Support Corporate Governance, Compliance, and Regulatory functions by monitoring legislative and regulatory changes and updating internal documents, controls, and procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Knowledge of Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD) as applied to contracting and operations
- Experience in Civil and Consumer Law, including the management of judicial and administrative matters
- Substantial experience in Contract Law, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts
- Knowledge of Banking Law and/or the legal aspects of financial products and credit operations
- Ability to organize and manage multiple legal matters simultaneously, with autonomy, strong prioritization skills, and a risk-based perspective
- Strong negotiation skills, clear communication, and ability to work with business teams and partners
- Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
