Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and execute software solutions for business needs on Automated Tank Gauge and related platforms
  • Evaluate newer technology stacks and frameworks and identify where they should be applied
  • Help team members get up to speed on newer technologies
  • Use Agile methodology experience to improve Agile team practices
  • Collaborate with peers, electrical and mechanical development teams, quality assurance, and others
  • Mentor junior engineers on design and coding best practices
  • Transfer technical knowledge about newer technologies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 3–5 years of experience developing software in object-oriented programming languages
  • Ideally, experience with C++ or Java
  • Project leadership experience preferred
  • Experience with continuous integration and automated test technologies useful
  • Experience with REST APIs and JSON useful
  • Experience with AWS or Azure and associated services useful
